I am happy to announce new Open Access Tuesdays for PS 8 families from 2:40-3:20 beginning on October 8th! Stop by the library, room 313, for recommendations, quiet studying, and to borrow books. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
September library orientations and Banned Books Week activities are now complete. Students in grades 2-5 have begun borrowing books, with Kindergarten and 1st grade classes to follow shortly. There is a 3 week loan period for materials borrowed, with one renewal permitted (6 weeks total, with exceptions allowable). We do not assess overdue fines, however there is a $3 fine for any library materials that are lost or damaged beyond repair.
