Once again our auditorium has been transformed into a colorful art gallery. Our kindergarten classes have been hard at work and play creating these beautiful pieces of art as part of our Studio in a School enrichment program with resident artist Belinda Blum. This year our little artists created self-portraits and fantasy pets.
Young artists looked in mirrors and drew themselves with artist pencils. Next, they mixed three primary colors into secondary colors and learned how to make their skin tone. They started drawing with big shapes using a big brush and ended using a small brush for details.
