PS8 has partnered with non-profit, Garden to Cafe, whose mission it is to education children about the importance of eating locally grown foods and exposing these foods to them. Last week Garden to Cafe hosted another tasting event at PS8 serving up rainbow carrot salad with spinach, arugula and thyme vinaigrette dressing as well as NY state apples. Even some of our most picky eaters gave it try.
