Moving from Emergent to Conventional Reading: A Workshop for Kindergarten Parents and Guardians

As we move closer to 2019, Kindergarten children will begin to bring home “book baggies” to read, explore, share and talk about texts! This morning workshop will provide you with information about reading acquisition, PS 8’s reading instruction philosophy, and how to support your child at home. The workshop will be led by Anne Lee, Kindergarten Teacher and Sandy Long, Lower Grade Staff Developer. Register HERE.
