Thanks to a grant of instruments we received from VH1 Save The Music two years ago, fourth and fifth graders can elect to join our concert band, run by our very own music teacher and experienced band conductor, Mr. Bloom. This year, students — some of whom are pictured above — chose to play saxophones, flutes, clarinets, bass guitars, and percussion (snare drums and bells). Play on! And, yes, “we’re with the band.”
